Yankee Candle Williamsburg

A rainy day, so we spent the morning at the resort for awhile just relaxing and watching TV. Then in the afternoon, we went to checkout one of two Yankee Candle Flagships. One is here in Williamsburg the other is in Deerfield MA.

WOW, this place was HUGE. With over 400,000 candles in more than 200 different, famous Yankee scents, you'll discover an entertaining, interactive family adventures at every turn.

Uncommon. Unexpected. Unforgettable.

Nothing compares to Yankee Candle for creating a lasting impression. New to Williamsburg in 2005. Its 10,000 square feet of unique, interactive shopping and fun entertainment that's far more than you can imagine.

We strolled through their Holiday Park where you can experience the Christmas spirit everyday. Here you can enjoy original animated musical entertainment and activities like candle dipping. Plus, savor freshly made fudge, snacks and quick meals in the store or grab a sandwich at our cafe.
I got a piece of Mint Cookie Fudge.

Counting down to Christmas

They have more than candles too, they have home deco too, we saw a sign their that we are going to have to go back for as we forgot it, planning to go back after touring the store and not wanting to carry it. It is a sign that Kevin said "Look Barbi, this sign fits you". I cant remember the exact saying, but it was about this being Nana's Kitchen a place where children are spoiled.  We got some tealights, but will go back and buy rest and have them ship it, afterall they have FREE shipping on orders over $100 and I can do that...lol....stay tuned for pic to be loaded later.

Next we went to dinner at Oceans and Ale. For our appetizer we had Fire Island Shrimp. Which is shrimp coated in a spicy Thai sauce and served on a bed of lettuce and pineapple.

For our entrees, Kevin had Baby Back Hoppin' Ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the Ocean Sea Stack which had garlic mashed potatoes stacked with crab, Seabass, scallops and a garlic cheddar bisquit.

For desert, Kevin had a Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet with Vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. I had Cheesecake Spring Rolls, which are cheesecake in a flaky crust rolled in cinnamon sugar topped with a raspberry sauce. I was soooo full.
